Member and Chair of the Physics Student Council
Taking responsibility in student representation
During my studies, I served as an elected member and later as chair of the Physics Student Council, the student representative body of the physics department. In this role, I represented student perspectives, supported fellow students with organisational questions, and contributed to communication between students, teaching staff, and the institute.
Key responsibilities
- Represented student concerns in discussions with teaching staff and university committees.
- Coordinated the work of the student council, including internal communication, task distribution, and decision-making.
- Supported students with organisational questions around courses, exams, and everyday academic life.
- Helped organise events that connected students with each other and with research groups at the institute.
- Improved communication between cohorts through shared documentation and better transfer of information.
This experience showed me how important clear communication, reliability, and practical organisation are in academic environments — especially when many different perspectives need to be brought together.
